Bottle Noise Maker
Supplies Needed:
Plastic Bottle
Rocks
Permanent Markers or Paint
#1: Place the rocks into a clean plastic bottle
#2: Decorate the bottle with permanent markers or paint!

Bag Noise Maker
Supplies Needed:
Plastic Bag or Garbage Bag
Empty Pop Cans or Metal Cans
Markers or Paint
#1: Fill a plastic bag with empty pop cans
#2: Use Markers or Paint to decorate the bag!

Hand Held Noise Maker
Supplies Needed
Popsicle Stick
Glue
Cardboard
Markers or Crayons
7  Buttons
String
Scissors
Printable circle template

#1: Trace 2 same sized circles on construction paper. Print out the circle template for help.
#2: Cut out the circles
#3: Glue the 2 circles together sandwiching the popsicle stick in between the 2 circles. Allow part of the popsicle stick to be outside the circles, this will be your handle
#4: Punch holes along the rim of the circles
#5: Attach the buttons to the string and then thread the string through a hole that you made with the hole punch. Tie a knot attaching the buttons to the circles
#6: Decorate your noise maker!

Paper Plate Masks


   Get in the New Year's Day spirit with a homemade paper plate mask! You'll have tons of fun designing and decorating your own custom mask
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper Plates
Hole Punch
2 Pieces of Ribbon (long enough to go around your head
Scissors
Glue
Decorative Items-such as glitter, New Year’s Date, pom poms, etc.
Markers or Crayons


#1: Draw 2 eye shapes on the plate
#2: Cut out the two eyes. These will help you see when you have your mask on
#3: Take the hole punch and make a hole on two sides of the plate across from each other
#4: Take the a piece of ribbon and tie it through the hole. Do the same thing to the other hole in the plate
#5: Decorate your mask with fun items and lots of
glitter. Try cutting out paper eyelashes and placing them above the eyes you cut out.  Use the eyes as zeros in New Year’s Date.

Christmas Snowman Craft


   Christmas Snowman Craft is a great way to use recycle items from around your house while making an adorable kids craft.
 

Supplies Needed:
Clear or White Plastic Bag
Ribbon
Googly Eyes
Construction Paper-orange
Glue
Scissors
Pipe Cleaner
2- Large Colored Pom Pom Balls
3-Large Black Pom Pom Balls
Newspaper or Recycled Paper

#1: Put Newspaper in each of the plastic bags.
#2: Tie the top of the plastic bag
#3: Take your ribbon and tie it around the center of the bag. Creating a larger ball on top and a larger ball on bottom
#4: Glue the googly eyes on the smaller ball these are the snowmans’ eyes
#5: Take the construction paper and cut out a triangle. This will be the snowmans’ nose
#6: Glue the triangle on the smaller ball below the eyes. This will be the snowmans’ nose
#7: Glue the large Pom Pom balls on either side of the smaller ball of the bag. These will be earmuffs for the snowman
#8: Glue the pipe cleaner from one pom pom ball to the next to look like earmuffs.
#9: Glue the 3 large black Pom Pom balls on the bottom of the large ball. These will be the snowmans’ buttons.
