Supplies Needed: Straw Paint Paper
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic #2: Place a small amount of paint on the center of the piece of paper (a small paint pile). #3: Place your straw slightly above the paint pile you made on the paper. #4: Blow as hard as you can on the end of the straw and watch as the paint moves on the paper. Make sure your children are not inhaling when blowing on the straw. #5: Keep blowing on the straw until the paint fans out and looks like a firework. #6: You can get creative and use red and blue paint on a white sheet of paper. Supplies Needed:
Tube Sock
Scissors
Glue
Permanent Markers or Fabric Paint
#1: Using your sock decorate it to look like a face or animal. Your Dad can use it to protect the tops of golf clubs. Make the nose by placing some tissue paper in the top center of the sock and wrapping a twist tie around the tissue paper and sock.
#2: Draw the mouth and eyes. Get creative!
#3: Use yarn to make the hair. Do this by creating two holes in the top of the sock and then pull the pieces of yarn through and knot it on top.
* Make a golf headcover resembling everyone in your family.
Supplies Needed: Toilet Paper Roll Pipe Cleaners Construction Paper Printable Butterfly Wing Template:

Googly Eyes Crayons or Markers
#1: Print the Printable Butterfly Wing Template #2: Cut out the printable butterfly wing template #3: Trace the wing template on a piece of construction paper #4: Cut out the wings you just traced on the construction paper #5: Decorate your butterfly wings with markers or crayons #6: Glue your butterfly wings to the toilet paper roll #7: Bend the pipe cleaner in half #8: Glue the pipe cleaner to the top of the toilet paper roll. These will be your butterfly antennas #9: Glue Googly Eyes to your butterfly #10: Draw a mouth and nose for your butterfly
Supplies Needed: Fabric Table Cloth (old sheet or blanket) Paint (red, green and white) Sponges Paper Plate Scissors Marker
#1: Lay your fabric table cloth on the grass outside or someplace that won’t get damaged by paint #2: Place newspaper or plastic anywhere you want to avoid paint #3: Take a sponge and draw different Cinco De Mayo items such as sombrero, maracas, tacos, peppers, cactus, and piñatas, #4: Cut out the images you drew on the sponge. Ask an adult for help. #5: Place small paint piles on the paper plate. This will be where you get paint for your sponge or paint brush. #6: Dip your sponge or paint brush in the paint #7: Press the sponge firmly onto the fabric table cloth. #8: Have fun decorating the table cloth. It’s a great project to get the whole family involved in!
