Supplies Needed: Brown Paper Bags Googly Eyes Markers or Crayons Pink Pom Pom
#1: Pick a job that you would like to make your Labor Day Puppet look like. Such as a police officer, veterinarian, computer repair man, construction worker, etc. #2:Open the flap portion of the lunch bag and draw a mouth. This will be the mouth of your Labor Day Puppet and should be placed under the flap. Allow to dry before continuing. #2: Glue the two googly eyes on the middle top of the flap portion of the brown lunch bag #3: Glue the pink pom pom below the eyes on the flap portion of the brown lunch bag. This will be your Labor Day Puppets nose. #4: Draw an outfit for your Labor Day Puppet on the lower portion of the bag #5: Your Labor Day Puppet is ready to perform in their first puppet show!
Supplies Needed: Paper Pencil or Pen Bowl Scissors
#1: On a sheet of paper write down different jobs that people have. Such as, police officer, veterinarian, firefighter, pastor, grocery clerk, etc #2: Cut out the different jobs and place them in a bowl #3: Pick one piece of paper from the bowl. Without the other person seeing what you picked draw a picture of the job you picked out. Keep drawing clues until your partner guesses the image #4: Take turns picking out jobs and drawing them.
Supplies Needed: Sponges Paint Paper Paper Plate Scissors Marker
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic #2: Take a sponge and draw a star on it. On another sponge draw a small rectangle (this will be used as the stripes in the flag) #3: Cut out the images you drew on the sponge. Ask an adult for help. #4: On a paper plate put a small amount of paint. This will be where you dip the sponge in the paint #5: Dip the sponge into the paint #6:Place the sponge with paint on it onto a piece of construction paper #7: Use the stars and stripes to create a American Flag. #8: Allow to dry and you are ready to hang your Flag for everyone to see!

Crayons or Markers Glue Large Craft Stick (or paint stick) Scissors Paper Plate
#1: Print out the printable 4th of July Image #2: Color the 4th of July image #3: Cut out the printable 4th of July image #4: Glue the printable 4th of July image to the center of the paper plate #5: Attach the paper plate to the large craft stick using glue. The large craft stick should be glued to the back, center of the paper plate #6: Allow the glue to dry before using the Independence Day fan!
