Education Learning Box Craft


   Education Learning Box Craft can be used for children of all ages. Help your child explore colors and numbers with this fun kids craft.
 


Supplies Needed:
Shoe Box
Scissors
Note Cards
Glue
Tape
 
#1: Take the shoe box and cut 6 length wise holes on the top of the box. Can do more or less depending on how many you can fit
#2: On the Note Cards draw or print off images. Can be shapes, colors, numbers, alphabet. For older children you could do math problems or spelling words. Make sure to do the same image twice. You need duplicates
#3: Cut the images out on one set of the postcards. 
#4:  On the other set of images you are going to fold them to look like triangles. So they stand on top of the box directly behind the holes you cut earlier
#5: Tape the folded triangle shaped note cards on the box. So they stand on top of the box directly behind the holes you cut earlier
#6: Give your child the note card images and have them match the correct image and put in the hole. 

Shoe Box Color Craft


   The Shoe Box Color Craft is a multi color teaching tool for your child. Easy to make and fun to explore colors.
 

Supplies Needed:
Shoe Box
Scissors
Tape
Tissue Paper
 
#1: Take the shoe box and cut 6 circular holes on the top of the box. Can do more or less depending on how many you can fit
#2:Take tissue paper and tape it on the inside of the box over the circle. So when you turn over the box you see colors covering the holes
#3: Ask your child to lay soft items, like pom pom balls, on top of the correct colors. 
#4: When you start to lose their attention have them punch their hands through the color when you say a certain color.

Toddler No Mess Painting Activity


   The Toddler No Mess Painting Activity is a great way to teach your child about colors.
 

Supplies Needed:
Pom Pom Balls
Paint
Paper Plate
Plastic Cup (must have a white interior)
Rubber Band
Plastic Wrap


#1: Have an adult place a little paint on a paper plate
#2: Have toddler dip the pom pom balls into the paint and then drop them into the plastic cup
#3: Have an adult place the plastic wrap over the top of the cup
#4: Secure the plastic wrap with a rubber band.
#5: Have the toddler shake the cup.
#6: Take off the plastic wrap and set aside to dry

Cloud Art Project for Toddlers


   The Cloud Art Project for Toddlers is a easy craft idea for toddlers age 1-3 years old.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper Plate
Cotton Balls
Glue

#1: Have toddler place glue on the paper plate
#2: Have the toddler place the cotton balls on the glued paper plate
#3: When they are done set aside the plate to dry then take your toddler outside and show them a cloud in the sky and explain to them they just made a cloud.

Preschool Number Dial Craft


   The Preschool Number Dial Craft is a fun, free and easy to make kids craft using paper plates. Teach children about numbers while having fun.
 

Supplies Needed:
Two Paper Plates
Scissors
Crayons or Markers
Ruler
Pipe Cleaner
Hole Punch


#1: Take both of the paper plates and create lines that divide the paper plate up into 5 equal parts. Hint: Sort of like cutting a pizza.
#2: On one of the paper plates write the numbers 1-5 in each of the divided sections.
#3: Draw circles to correlate with the number that you wrote on the plate. Example: the number 5 gets 5 circles
#4: On the second paper plate cut out one of the triangle shapes you traced earlier. Leave the rim of the paper plate in tact.
#5: Put the two paper plates together and use the hole punch to create a hole in the center of each plate so they align.
#6: Push the pipe cleaner through the center of the hole and knot the end so the paper plates are now bound together.
#7: Rotate the plate around to reveal different numbers and circles.
