Preschool Stop Light Craft


   The Preschool Stop Light Craft is an easy to make kids craft that is designed to teach children about colors and traffic lights.
 

Supplies Needed:
3 empty tissue boxes
Construction Paper: Grey, Green, Red, Yellow
Scissors
Glue
Markers or Crayons
Circle Template

#1: Print out the circle template
#2: Trace the circle template on the red, green and yellow construction paper
#3: Have an adult cut out the circle templates you traced.
#4: On each of the colors write what color it is. Example: Red Circle Write “Red” could also write “Stop”. Do this for all the color circles you cut out.
#5: Cover the entire tissue box with the grey construction paper. Hint: Wrap it like a present. Do this for all 3 boxes
#6: Glue the circles on the front of each tissue box.
#7: Stack the three tissue boxes in the following order Red, Yellow, Green to create a stop light

Free Shape Sponge Preschool Craft

#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Have an adult trace a different shapes on a sponge. Do this for circles, squares, triangles on different sponges
#3: Have an adult use scissors to cut out the sponge shapes
#4: Pour a little paint on paper plate
#5: Dip the sponge shape in the paint
#6: Then have the child press the sponge shape down on a piece of paper
#7: Repeat this for all the shape sponges you created.
#8: Pour glitter or sand on each painted shape 
#9: Set aside and allow to dry
#10: Once the paper is dry have the child rub their finger over the shape so they can feel the shape

Lady Bug Preschool Craft

Styrofoam Ball
Black Pom Poms
Black Pipe Cleaners
Scissors
Glue
Googly Eyes
Red and Black Paint
Paper Plate
Paint Brush


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Pour some red paint on the paper plate
#3: Have the child paint the Styrofoam ball red
#4: Set aside the Styrofoam ball to dry
#5: Have an adult cut the pipe cleaners in half
#6: Take the black Pom Pom and glue two googly eyes on it.
#7: Take the dry Styrofoam Ball and glue the black Pom Pom onto the side of the Styrofoam ball. This is the Lady Bugs head.
#8: Take the pipe cleaners and push them into the Styrofoam ball on the bottom. This will be the lady bugs feet. She will need 6 of them!
#9: Pour a little black paint on the paper plate
#10: Use a paint brush to make a few black dots on the back of the lady bug.

Number Sponge Preschool Craft

Fingerprint Bee Kids Craft

Bee Wing Template:

#1: Print the Printable Bee Wing Template
#2: Cut out the printable Bee wing template
#3: Trace the wing template on a piece of construction paper
#4: Cut out the wings you just traced on the construction paper
#5: Decorate your Bee wings with markers or crayons
#6: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic.
#7: Have your child paint the cup with yellow paint
#8: Set aside the cup and allow to dry
#9: Dip your child’s finger into black paint
#10: Then place your child’s finger on the cup. Repeat this to give your bee black ring markings on his entire body.
#11: Glue the bee wings to the cup
#12:Glue your googly eyes to the cup. You want to glue them towards the top of the bottom of the cup
#13: Have an adult use scissors to place a small hole in the bottom of the cup
#14: Bend the pipe cleaner in half
#15: Insert the center of the bent pipe cleaner in the hole you made with the scissors. These will be your bees antennas.
