Supplies Needed Brown Paper Bag Brown Construction Paper Pipe Cleaners Googly Eyes Pom Poms (red) Scissors
#1: Lay your paper bag out flat #2:Draw and cut out 2 oval shapes on the brown construction paper. This will be the reindeers ears. #3: Bend, twist and cut little pieces of pipe cleaner to make 2 antlers for the reindeer #4: Glue the 2 antler pipe cleaners to the top portion of the paper bag #5: Glue the two ears you made out of construction paper to the bag #6: Glue the googly eyes on the paper bag #7: Glue the red Pom Pom on the paper bag as the reindeers nose #8: Take one more pipe cleaner and bend it to look like a smile and glue it on the paper bag.
Supplies Needed: 3 Popsicle Sticks Glue 18- Small Buttons 1 Large Button Ribbon
#1: Take two popsicle sticks and glue them together in the shape of an ‘X’ #2: Take the 3rd popsicle stick and place it in the center of the ‘X’ you made with the other two popsicle sticks and glue it in place. Set aside and allow to dry #3: Glue the 1 Large Button in the center of the popsicles #4: Glue the tiny buttons on the rest of the popsicle sticks. #5: Set aside and allow to dry #6: Tie a ribbon around the center of the popsicle sticks so you can hang your button snowflake ornament.
Supplies Needed: 7- Popsicle Sticks Paint (black and white) Googly Eyes Glue Construction Paper (orange) Paper Plate Paint Brushes Pipe Cleaner
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic wrap #2: Place 6 popsicle sticks side by side on the table #3: Place the 7th popsicle stick on top of the 6 popsicle sticks. Want to glue this 7th popsicle stick about 1 inch from the top of the 6 popsicle sticks #4: Place a few drops of black and white paint on the paper plate #5: Paint the popsicle sticks below the 7th popsicle stick white. This is the snowman’s face #6: Paint the popsicle sticks above the 7th popsicle stick black and also paint the 7th popsicle stick black. This is the snowman’s hat. #7: Set aside and allow to dry #8: Cut out a small orange triangle. This will be the snowman’s carrot nose #9: Glue the googly eyes and nose on the snowman’s face #10: Bend your pipe cleaner to look like a smile and glue it to the snowman’s face.
Supplies Needed: Construction Paper (white) Crayons or Markers Red Paint Paper Plate Scissors Glue
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper #2: Put a small amount of paint on the paper plate. #3: Place your child’s hand in the paint on the paper plate. Make sure each finger and the palm of the hand has paint on it. #4: Place your both of your child’s hands on the paper. Press down on each finger and the center of the hand so the paint gets transferred to the paper #5: Set aside and allow to dry #6: Once the paint is dry draw a triangle shape around each of the handprints #7: Cut out both triangle shapes you made using scissors #8: Draw a circle on the piece of paper. You can trace the bottom of a cup or other round object #9: Cut out the circle using scissors #10: Glue a triangle to opposite sides of the circle. The pointed part of the triangle should be glued to the back of the circle. The object should look like a rolled up peppermint. #11: Decorate the center circle to look like a peppermint candy. Make it look like a pinwheel design.
Supplies Needed: Paper Scissors Markers or Crayons Ribbon Glue Hole Punch
#1: Trace your child’s hand on the piece of paper #2: Use the scissors to cut out the handprint #3: Draw a small rectangle in the palm of the handprint you just cut out. This will be where you put your child’s picture #4: Use the scissors to cut out the rectangle you just drew. Remember this is where you will place your child’s picture #5: Use the hole punch to place a hole on the top portion of the middle finger of the handprint you cut out. #6: Thread your ribbon through the hole you just punched and tie a knot. Now you will be able to hang your handprint picture frame ornament on the tree. #7: Glue your child’s picture to the back of the picture frame #8: Allow the glue to dry #9: Decorate the handprint using crayons and markers. Add a little glitter for a sparkling touch.
