#1: Protect your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic. #2: Print out the Party Hat Template #3: Cut out the party hat template #4: Place the template on a piece of folded construction paper #5: Trace out the template on the construction paper #6: Cut out your party hat from the construction paper #8: Place two holes on the bottom rim of your party hat #9: Attach the ribbon to the holes. (These will tie around your chin) #10: Decorate your party hat with your own custom design #11: Allow your design to dry #12: Your party hat will help you bring in any special occasion in with style

#1: Print out the hat template. Cut out the hat template
#2: Fold the black construction paper in half.
#3: Place the template on the back half of the construction paper and trace
#4: Cut out and unfold the construction paper. Repeat this on the second piece of black construction paper
#5: Glue the two pieces of cut out, unfolded construction paper together. Make sure you do not glue the bottom portion of the hat together.
#6: Cut out a brown strip of paper about 2" wide
#7: Place this strip around the center of the black hat. Or decorate your hat with your own design.

#1: Around the rim of the paper plate write the numbers 1-12. It should look like an analog clock (use one as a model to copy from). The 12 on the top of the plate, 3 on the right side, 6 on the bottom and 9 opposite the three on the left side.
#2: Make a small hole in the center of the plate
#3: Using the paper cut out two arrows. A longer for the minute hand. A shorter one for the hour hand.
#4: Peirce a hold in the ends of the arrows with the paper fastener. Place it through the hole in the center of the plate and secure the back
#5: Teach your child how to tell time using your new clock.
*For practice try getting out a list of times and activities your child has for the week and let them show you on their new clock what the time would look like for each activity.
1 cup of Plaster of Paris
1 cup of Water
Powdered Tempera Paint
Mold for the chalk (cups, ice cube tray, egg carton, etc)

#1: In bowl mix together the water and Plaster of Paris
#2: Add Tempera Paint to the Plaster of Paris mixture. Mix well and set aside for a few minutes
#3: Pour the mixture into your mold until dry. It may take hours to days for it to dry.
#4: Remove chalk from mold and let dry for about 24 hrs. Then you are ready to create your sidewalk art!
