Supplies Needed:
Small Styrofoam Ball
Large Styrofoam Ball
3-Toothpicks
Orange Construction Paper
Yellow Paint

#1: Take the large Styrofoam ball outside and rub the bottom of the ball on concrete until the bottom is flat. And the ball is able sit without rolling over.
#2: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#3: Paint both Styrofoam balls with the yellow paint until completely covered
#4: Set the Styrofoam balls aside and allow the paint to dry
#5: Cut 2 small triangle shapes. These will be the beak for your Easter chick
#6: Lay one of the orange triangles on the table. Place a little bit of glue on the orange triangle.
#7: Lay a toothpick in the center of the orange triangle that you just applied glue to
#8: On top of the toothpick place another orange triangle so that the toothpick is sandwiched in between two orange triangles. Make sure the triangles are facing the same way. This will be the Easter chick’s beak.

#9: Place a toothpick in the center top of the large Styrofoam ball. The top of the Styrofoam ball is the part that was not flattened on the concrete.

#11: Place the toothpick with the orange triangles (aka: Easter chick’s beak) into the center of the small Styrofoam ball.
#12: Above the Easter chick’s beak glue on the googly eyes
