Youth Stained Glass Cross

Jesus is the son of God who died on a cross for our sins.
"For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 'Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth'; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed." (1 Peter 2:21-24).

Supplies Needed:
2 Pieces of black construction paper
Tissue paper
Scissors
Glue
White Crayon

#1: Trace out a cross in the center of the black paper using the white crayon
#2: Place the two sheets of black construction paper together and cut out the outline of the cross. Only cut out the center of the cross leaving paper around the cross. You can do this by making a small hole in the center of the cross and then begin cutting.
#3: Glue the piece of tissue paper to one of the black construction paper. So that the tissue paper is stretched across the cross.
#4: Glue the second piece of construction paper on top
#5: Hang your cross stained glass picture in a window for the sun to shine through.
