Free Easter Egg Lady Bug Craft


   The Free Easter Egg Lady Bug Craft is a wonderful kids craft to try with your children this Easter.
 

Supplies Needed:
Hard Boiled Egg
Black Pom Poms
Black Pipe Cleaners
Scissors
Glue
Googly Eyes
Red and Black Paint
Paper Plate
Paint Brush


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Pour some red paint on the paper plate
#3: Have the child paint the hard boiled egg red. You can also dye it red.
#4: Set aside the egg to dry
#5: Have an adult cut the pipe cleaners in half
#6: Take the black Pom Pom and glue two googly eyes on it.
#7: Take the dry egg and glue the black Pom Pom onto the side of the egg. This is the Lady Bugs head.
#8: Take one pipe cleaner and make a circle. Then take the other cut pipe cleaners and attach them to the circle pipe cleaner. These will be the lady bugs feet. She will need 6 of them!
#9: Glue the circle pipe cleaner to the bottom of the egg.
#10: Pour a little black paint on the paper plate
#11: Use a paint brush to make a few black dots on the back of the lady bug.

Kids Turkey Candy Holder


   This fun Thanksgiving kids craft starts with a styrofoam ball and ends with a turkey that can be used to hold candy or just about anything
 

Supplies Needed:

Large Styrofoam Ball

Brow Paint

Pencil

Scissors

Construction Paper

Glue

Pixie Sticks (candy)

 

#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic sheet

#2: Cut the Styrofoam ball in half. Have a parent use scissors or a bread knife.

#3: Paint one half of the Styrofoam ball brown. Allow to dry

#4: Draw a turkey head (a long oval shape), eyes, wattle and beak on the construction paper

#5: Cut out and glue the turkey head to the front of the Styrofoam ball.

#6: Cut and glue the eyes, beak and wattle to the turkey head.

#7: Once the Styrofoam is dry use the pencil to place holes around the Styrofoam. Deep enough to hold the pixie sticks upright

 

*Out of pixie sticks? Use the turkey to hold crayons, markers, or anything you want!

Simple Elephant Hand print Kids Craft


   Simple Elephant Handprint Kids Craft is a great way to capture your child's hand print. This animal kids craft is fun and simple to make.
 

Supplies Needed:
Gray Paint
Large Pom Pom Ball
Googly Eye
Paint Brush
Paper
Glue
#1: Paint your child’s hand
#2:Press your child’s hand on the paper. Press each finger so all the paint comes off
#3: Set aside and allow to dry
#4: Glue the googly eye near the thumb
#5: Glue the Pom Pom near the top portion of the handprint. This is the elephants ear
#6: Use the paint brush to draw a small tail after the pinkie of the handprint. This will be the elephants tail.

Free Kids Butterfly Easter Egg Craft


   The Free Kids Butterfly Easter Egg Craft is another wonderful holiday kids craft from Kids Craft Zone.
 

Supplies Needed:
Hard Boiled Egg
Small Red Pom Pom
Pipe Cleaner
Scissors
Glue
Googly Eyes
Paint or dye
Paper Plate
Paint Brush
Construction Paper


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Pour some paint on the paper plate
#3: Have the child paint the hard boiled egg their favorite color. Can also dye the Easter Egg.
#4: Set aside the egg to dry
#5: Have an adult cut the pipe cleaner in half
#6: Take the construction paper and cut out two wings for your butterfly.
#7: Take the dry egg and glue two googly eyes in the center of the egg. These are the butterfly’s eyes
#8: Take the egg and glue the red Pom Pom onto the side of the egg. This is the butterfly’s nose.
#9: Take the pipe cleaners glue them to the wings. This will be the butterfly’s antennas.
#9: Glue those two wings to the back of the egg. These are the butterfly’s wings.
#10: Use a paint brush to make a mouth on the butterfly.

Kids Spring Caterpillar Bottle Cap Craft


   The Kids Spring Caterpillar Bottle Cap Craft is a great recycle kids craft using old bottle caps.
 

Supplies Needed:
 4 or 5 Bottle Caps (from soda tops)
Glue
Paint
Googly Eyes
Popsicle Stick
Pipe Cleaners


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#2: Paint your popsicle stick brown and set aside
#3: Paint your bottle caps all different colors and set aside
#4: Take one of the dry bottle caps and glue on some googly eyes.
#5: On the same bottle cap as the googly eyes glue on a cut pipe cleaner to the top. This will be the caterpillar’s antennas
#6: Take the caterpillar’s face and glue it to the popsicle stick.
#7: Glue each of the other colored bottle caps to the popsicle stick. Placing them in a row close together.
#8: Set aside and allow to dry.
