Printable Squirrel Template

#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#2: Have an adult mix equal parts of shaving foam and glue with a spoon on a paper plate.
#3: Have an adult put a few drops of paint and mix into the glue and shaving foam mixture.
#4: Print out the printable squirrel template
#5: Use scissors to cut out the squirrel template
#6: Have the child use a sponge in the shaving foam, glue, paint mixture to color the squirrel. The paint will look bumpy when the child is done. This is normal because the picture will try with a touch and feel texture.
#7: Use the hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the leaf
#8: Insert the ribbon in the hole you punched and tie the ribbon to create a loop.
#1: Collect sand and shells from your beach trip
#2: Pour the sand on a paper plate
#3: Take a plastic cup and use the paint brush to apply glue all around the cup
#4: Roll the plastic cup on the paper plate of sand. Do this until the whole cup is covered in sand.
#5: Set aside to dry
#6: Take your shells and glue them to the paper cup on top of the sand.
#7: Set aside to dry
Decoration items: Pompom balls, glitter, googly eyes, etc

#2: Cut out the templates
#3: Trace the free templates on the felt
#4: Cut out the templates from the felt
#5: Glue the spring items to magnets
#6: Decorate your spring items with Pompom balls, glitter, googly eyes, etc
Markers or Crayons
#1: Take the paper plate and use the scissors cut ½ - 1” slits around the perimeter of the paper plate
#2: Add Googly Eyes to the center of the paper plate. These will be the suns’ eyes
#3: Add a pipe cleaner for the sun’s mouth.
#4: Use your markers or crayons to decorate the paper plate sun.
