The Kids Veteran's Day Army Man Craft is a wonderful way to teach your children about Veteran's day.
Supplies Needed:
3 Different Size Styrofoam Balls
Paint
Paper Towel or Toilet Paper Roll
Glue
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Cut the paper towel roll in half. This will hold the Styrofoam balls while you paint
#3: Glue the Styrofoam balls together. Placing the largest one on the bottom and working your way to the smallest
#5: Paint the Styrofoam balls to look like an army man
#6: Allow to dry
#7: Display your army veteran on Veteran’s Day.

#1: Fold a piece of paper in half
#2: On the outside of the paper write Happy Veteran’s Day
#3: On the inside white “Thank you for serving our county”
#4: Decorate the card
#5: Give this wonderful card to a Veteran. If you don’t know a veteran contact your local VA facility and take the card there.
Kids Balloon Veteran's Day Flag Craft is a great way to create decorations to show your support this Veteran's Day.
Supplies Needed:
Red, Blue or White Balloon
Paint
Paint Brush
Paper Towel Roll
Scissors
Ribbon
#1: Cut a paper towel roll in half. This will be the base to hold the balloon
#2: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#3: Blow up a balloon
#4: Paint the balloon with red, white and blue colors. Can also use glitter on the balloon.
#5: Set aside to dry
#6: Attach ribbons to the bottom of the balloon
#7: Display your balloon on your mailbox or outdoors for everyone to see the support you are giving to our veterans.

#1: Cut the piece of paper into a long triangle. Like a sports pennant.
#2: At the top portion of the triangle place two holes at each end
#3: Thread your ribbon through each of these holes to create a loop or a place to hang your flag
#4: Cut a star out of your paper
#5: On the inside of your star write “In honor of your service to our country”
#6: Glue the star in the center of your pennant
#7: Decorate your pennant with red white and blue colors.
#8 Proudly hang your pennant on your door.

Bubble Wrap

Paint Brush
Paint – shades of grey, (or create shades of grey by mixing black and white paint)
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper
#2: Paint the plate a dark grey and set aside to dry
#3: Take a lighter color grey and paint the bubble wrap.
#4: Press the bubble wrap onto the plate
#5: Remove the bubble wrap and continue to do this until the entire plate is covered with bubble wrap craters.
#6: Allow paint to dry and then hang up in your home!
