Handprint Santa Face


   This handprint kids craft will become a cherished memory for each holiday season.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper
Paint
Plate
Crayons or Markers

#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#2: Put a small amount of paint on the paper plate.
#3: Place your child’s hand in the paint on the paper plate. Make sure each finger and the palm of the hand has paint on it.
#4: Place your child’s hand on the bottom portion of the piece of paper. Press down on each finger and the center of the hand so the paint gets transferred to the paper
#5: Set aside and allow to dry
#6: Once the handprint is dry you can start creating Santa’s face.  Make sure you draw Santa’s face on the top portion of the handprint. The fingers should look like Santa’s hands and feet.

Labor Day Kids Craft

Family Tree Handprint Craft

2 Pieces of Paper
Crayons
Scissors

#1: Trace child’s hands
#2: Cut out 3 or 2 handprints
#3: Draw a tree trunk on the other piece of paper
#4: Glue the handprints on top of a tree trunk
#5: Write your name, Grandma and Grandpa on the hands as a family tree

Handprint & Footprint Veteran’s Day Flag

Supplies Needed:

White Cardboard

Paint Blue and Red 

 #1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Paint your child’s hand blue. Then firmly place it on the upper left hand corner of the posterboard.
#3: Continue step 2 until you have a large rectangle of handprints in the top left upper corner of the board (approx. 12 handprints)
#4: Paint your child’s foot red. Then firmly place it on the far right hand side of the cardboard
#5: Continue step 4 until you make enough rows of footprints to cover the board. The feet prints should look like stripes with a small amount of white board showing between the feet.
#6: Set aside and allow to dry

Veteran’s Day Handprint American Flag


   Your child will enjoy this fun exciting Veteran’s Day Handprint American Flag. You will cherish the time spent making this adorable craft.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper
Popsicle Stick
Crayons or Markers
Paint- red, white and blue
Scissors
Glue


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic
#2: Cut a rectangle out of the paper (this will be the flag)
#3: Paint your child’s palm blue, and alternate between red and white on all the other fingers
#4: Quickly place your child’s hand on the blue square you cut out. Press down firmly on each finger so the paint comes off
#5: Set aside and allow to dry
#6: Use markers to draw stars on the palm portion of the handprint
#7: Glue the square paper to the popsicle stick
