Easter Poems


   Create a wonderful fingerprint bunny to go along with your Easter poem.This Easter poem is sure to be cherished for a lifetime.
 

Supplies Needed:
Construction Paper
Paint
Markers or Crayons

#1: On top of a sheet of construction paper write the following:


Ten little Easter bunnies sitting in a row
They are made from my very own fingerprints, you know
Ten little Easter bunnies are hoping to say
Love and kisses this happy Easter day

#2: Dip the child’s 1 finger tips into the paint
#3: Place the child’s finger tips onto the construction paper and press firmly. The fingertips will be the 10 little bunnies from the poem.
#5: Set aside and allow the paint to dry
#6: Once the paint is dry draw eyes, whiskers and bunny ears on the finger tip bunnies

Handprint Shamrock


   Create a lucky shamrock using your handprint! Give your lucky shamrock to a family member to cherish or keep it for the luck of the Irish
 

Supplies Needed:
3-Green Construction Paper
Pencil
Glitter

#1: Trace your hand pattern on 3 pieces of green construction paper
#2: Cut out the 3 hand patterns
#3: Glue the palm portion of the hands to each other so they fan out in a shamrock pattern
#4: Use crayons, markers and glitter to create beautiful handprint shamrock

Kids Paper Plate Mitten Wreath Craft


   Give warmth to your home this winter with some fun winter kids crafts. Your children will have a blast creating a Kids Paper Plate Mitten Wreath Craft.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper Plate
Mitten Template
Crayons or Markers
Construction Paper
Scissors
Glue


#1: Print out the Mitten Template
#2: Cut out the Mitten template
#3: Trace the mitten template several times on a piece of paper
#4: Cut out each mitten you traced.
#5: Decorate each mitten you cut out using markers or crayons. You could even write each family members name on a mitten.
#6: Glue the mittens you cut out and decorated around the edge of the paper plate. Make sure to have the mittens sticking out in the same direction. You can even overlap them a little.

Peppermint Candy Handprint Craft


   You will cherish this holiday kids craft forever. Creating a handprint kids craft during the holidays is a very special activity.
 

Supplies Needed:
Construction Paper (white)
Crayons or Markers
Red Paint
Paper Plate
Scissors
Glue


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#2: Put a small amount of paint on the paper plate.
#3: Place your child’s hand in the paint on the paper plate. Make sure each finger and the palm of the hand has paint on it.
#4: Place your both of your child’s hands on the paper. Press down on each finger and the center of the hand so the paint gets transferred to the paper
#5: Set aside and allow to dry
#6: Once the paint is dry draw a triangle shape around each of the handprints
#7: Cut out both triangle shapes you made using scissors
#8: Draw a circle on the piece of paper. You can trace the bottom of a cup or other round object
#9: Cut out the circle using scissors
#10: Glue a triangle to opposite sides of the circle. The pointed part of the triangle should be glued to the back of the circle. The object should look like a rolled up peppermint.
#11: Decorate the center circle to look like a peppermint candy. Make it look like a pinwheel design.

Handprint Picture Frame Ornament


   Your child will love creating this Handprint Picture Frame Ornament and you will cherish this holiday ornament forever.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper
Scissors
Markers or Crayons
Ribbon
Glue
Hole Punch


#1: Trace your child’s hand on the piece of paper
#2: Use the scissors to cut out the handprint
#3: Draw a small rectangle in the palm of the handprint you just cut out. This will be where you put your child’s picture
#4: Use the scissors to cut out the rectangle you just drew. Remember this is where you will place your child’s picture
#5: Use the hole punch to place a hole on the top portion of the middle finger of the handprint you cut out.
#6: Thread your ribbon through the hole you just punched and tie a knot. Now you will be able to hang your handprint picture frame ornament on the tree.
#7: Glue your child’s picture to the back of the picture frame
#8: Allow the glue to dry
#9: Decorate the handprint using crayons and markers. Add a little glitter for a sparkling touch.
