Toddler Number Learning Craft


   The Toddler Number Learning Craft is a great, easy way to teach your kids about numbers.
 

Supplies Needed:
Paper 
Scissors
Tape
Marker or Crayon
Glue
Magnet Numbers
 
#1: Cut out squares from the construction paper. Make them all the same size and you will need one for each number you want to create
#2: Write a number on the construction squares you cut out and draw the correct number of circles under the number
#3: Tape each number square to your refrigerator or metal surface
#6: Have your child match the correct magnetic number to the correct paper square.

 

Toddler Flash Card Craft


   Create these easy Toddler Fash Cards to help your child learn about numbers, letters and colors.
 


Supplies Needed:
Crayons or Markers
Index Cards


#1: Have an adult write on each index card different colors. Use the correct color to write the word. Examples: Red, Orange, Blue, Purple, Pink, Black
*add glitter, sand, feathers, etc to make the objects have a feeling


#2: Give the Toddler the flash cards and tell them what the flash card says.

Printable Umbrella Kids Spring Craft

Pipe Cleaner
Construction Paper
Paint
Scissors
Glue
Paint or Markers
Shaving Foam
Spoon

#1: Print out the free printable umbrella template
#2: Cut out the umbrella template
#3: Trace umbrella template on a piece of construction paper
#4: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#5: Have an adult mix equal parts of shaving foam and glue with a spoon on a paper plate.
#6: Have an adult put a few drops of paint and mix into the glue and shaving foam mixture.
#7: Have the child use a sponge in the shaving foam, glue, paint mixture to color the umbrella. The paint will look bumpy when the child is done. This is normal because the picture will try with a touch and feel texture.
#8: Set umbrella aside to dry
#9: Glue a pipe cleaner to the bottom of the umbrella. This will be the umbrella’s handle.

Kids Spring Caterpillar Bottle Cap Craft


   The Kids Spring Caterpillar Bottle Cap Craft is a great recycle kids craft using old bottle caps.
 

Supplies Needed:
 4 or 5 Bottle Caps (from soda tops)
Glue
Paint
Googly Eyes
Popsicle Stick
Pipe Cleaners


#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down plastic or newspaper
#2: Paint your popsicle stick brown and set aside
#3: Paint your bottle caps all different colors and set aside
#4: Take one of the dry bottle caps and glue on some googly eyes.
#5: On the same bottle cap as the googly eyes glue on a cut pipe cleaner to the top. This will be the caterpillar’s antennas
#6: Take the caterpillar’s face and glue it to the popsicle stick.
#7: Glue each of the other colored bottle caps to the popsicle stick. Placing them in a row close together.
#8: Set aside and allow to dry.
