Supplies Needed: Pasta Noodles (like macaroni, rigatoni) Scissors Paint Brush String
#1: Take a piece of string measure and cut it to fit loosely around your child’s wrist #2: Use your paint brush to paint each piece of noodle a different color #3: Set aside to dry #4: Once your noodle pieces are dry thread them onto the string you cut #5: Take the two ends of the string and tie them together to make a Mardi Gras bracelet
Supplies Needed: Straw Scissors Paint Brush String
#1: Take a piece of string measure and cut it to fit loosely around your child’s neck #2: Take a straw and cut it into small pieces #3: Use your paint brush to paint each piece of straw a different color #4: Set aside to dry #5: Once your straw pieces are dry thread them onto the string you cut #6: Take the two ends of the string and tie them together to make a Mardi Gras necklace
Supplies Needed: Colored Paper (yellow, green, purple) Crayons or Markers Scissors Small Round Object (like a cup, bowl, ball,etc)
#1: Take your small round object and place it on your colored paper #2: Use your marker or crayons to trace around the object #3: Use your scissors to cut out the circle you just traced #4: Write Mardi Gras Coins on the paper you cut out
Supplies Needed: Ribbon Jewels, Sequins, Feathers Glue Scissors Marker
#1: Ask a parent to help you measure how much ribbon you need to go tie around your head covering your eyes #2: While measuring mark where your child’s eyes are #3: Help cut out eye holes where you marked your child’s eyes on the ribbon #4:Use glue to place jewels, feathers and/or sequins on your ribbon mask #5: Set aside and allow to dry before you wear your beautiful mask to your Mardi Gras event
