Construction Paper Straws Scissors Ribbon
#1: Print out the printable flower template #2: Cut out the printable flower template #3: Trace the flower template on a piece of construction paper. Need to trace about 10 flowers #4: Cut out the flowers you traced #6: Cut the straws into 4 equal pieces #7: Thread a straw then a flower onto the ribbon. Alternate between the flower and straw.
Supplies Needed: Cloths Pin Paint Construction paper Scissors Glue Paint Brush Markers or Crayons Small Googly Eyes Pipe Cleaner –cut in half
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic #2: Paint your cloths pin and set aside to dry #3: Glue the pipe cleaners to the top of the cloths pin. These are the butterfly’s’ antennas. #4: Glue the googly eyes below the pipe cleaners #5: Draw a mouth on the butterfly below the googly eyes #6: On construction paper draw four ovals #7: Cut out the four ovals. These will be the butterfly’s wings #8: Decorate the butterfly’s wings (ovals) #9: Glue the decorated wings to the back of the cloths pin
Supplies Needed: Paint Construction Paper Markers or Crayons Scissors Paper Plate Paint Brush
#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic #2: Paint your paper plate green and set aside to dry #3: Cut out five circles on the construction paper. These will be the turtles head, and four feet. #4: Glue the four circles to the back corners of the paper plate. These are the turtles feet #5: Glue one circle to the center of the paper plate back. This is the turtles head. #6: Give your turtle a face!
Supplies Needed: Construction Paper Pipe Cleaner-5 Glue Scissors
#1: Draw two circles on a piece of construction paper. A small and larger one #2: Cut out the two circles you drew #3: Glue the smaller circle on top of the larger circle you cut out. The small circle is the monkey’s head and the larger one his body #4: Glue two pipe cleaners on the bottom of the large circle. These are the monkey’s feet #5: Glue two pipe cleaners on the top of the large circle. These are the monkey’s hands #6: Roll the last pipe cleaner around a pencil to make it curly #7: Glue the curly pipe cleaner to the middle of the circle this is the monkey’s tail. #8: Draw a face on the top circle. Nose, mouth and eyes.

#1: Prepare your work environment by laying down newspaper or plastic #2: Paint your large paper plate your favorite hippo color and set aside to dry #3: Make two holes with the hole punch on the top of the paper plate #4: Insert a pipe cleaner in each hole and make a loop and secure. These are the hippos ears #5: Glue Googly Eyes to your plate and add a mouth and nose
