Supplies Needed: Box (medium to large) 2- Paper Towel Roll Rubber Bands Markers or Crayons Tape
#1: Take a Medium to Large Box and decorate it to look like a Birthday Cake #2: Take the 2 paper towel rolls and cut them in 1” pieces. #3: Decorate the paper towel rolls to look like candles #4: Place the paper towel candles on top of the flat portion of the box you decorated to look like a cake #5: A couple feet back from the box and candles make a line with the tape for the children to stand behind. #6: Have the children sit, stand or lay down and using the rubber bands shoot them at the candles on top of the birthday cake box you created. First child to knock over all the candles in the fastest time wins. **If you don’t want to shoot them off with rubber bands try nerf guns or water guns.
Supplies Needed: Spoons Hard Boiled Egg Tape
#1: Create enough hard boiled eggs for children at the party #2: Create a starting line and finish line in the grass using tape #3: Line up the children behind the line and give them a spoon and hard boiled egg #4: The object is to cross the finish line without dropping the egg. If they drop the egg they must start all over. *Can also do this as a relay race *Could use water balloons or regular balloons instead of eggs also.
Supplies Needed: Costume Materials- old shirts, Halloween outfits, hats, scarves, high heel shoes, boots, etc Camera
#1: Place all the dress up materials in one location #2: Place the children in groups of two #3: Each team of children must use the dress up costumes to make a funny costume. #4: When they are all dressed up an adult will take a picture of them #5: Once each group of children has dressed up its time to judge. Put the pictures on a computer or TV and let the group of children applaud on the best costumes
Supplies Needed: Bubbles and Wands
#1: Create a bubble station outdoors #2: Give each child bubbles and a bubble wand #3: Each child must blow the number of the bubbles as the age of the birthday child #4: First one to complete this birthday game wins!
Supplies Needed: Play Dough Markers or Crayons Paper
#1: Write Happy Birthday (child’s name) on the piece of paper using crayons or markers #2: Divide the playdough into small sections #3: Have each child make a letter on the Happy Birthday sign you created in step 1 #4: Arrange the letters in order to spell out Happy Birthday (child’s name)
